On Farm Trials

Back by popular demand the Manitoba Corn Growers Association is working with Tone Ag Consulting  Ltd. again in 2019 to initiate on-farm research looking at nitrogen timing in corn production. The MCGA sees the benefits of having on-farm trials being done in coordination with small plot trial research to try and answer questions growers have related to nitrogen fertility management in corn production.

Objective: The purpose of this project is to quantify the agronomic and economic impacts of split nitrogen applications to corn in alternating randomized strips across the field. There will be a 12 trials conducted across Manitoba.
