On Farm Trials

The Manitoba Corn Growers Association is working with Tone Ag Consulting  Ltd. in 2017 to initiate on-farm research looking at nitrogen timing in corn production. The MCGA sees the benefits of having on-farm trials being done in coordination with small plot trial research to try and answer questions growers have related to nitrogen fertility management in corn production.

Protocols:  Corn Nitrogen Timing Trial

Objective: The purpose of this project is to quantify the agronomic and economic impacts of split nitrogen applications to corn in alternating randomized strips across the field. There will be a maximum of 10 trials conducted across Manitoba so sign up now!
